Introduction

Products can have relationships / groups of components where you are able / force to pick some of them from each group.

The Configurator Section it’s just a way to organize this relationships in the Product Setup screen.

For instance, suppose that you have2 relationships as the following:

Notice that they have a 1/1/1 cardinality, which means that they are selected by default and readonly. This is, they are mandatory. So you could create a Configurator Section named Mandatory Components and assign these two relationships to it. This way, once you enter the setup, you would see both components inside a section called Mandatory Components.
