This process covers the definition of prices to be used on quotation and billing.

Definition of Price List

Price Lists are used to define the different prices that the same concept could have based on different scenarios related to the sale, agreement or contract.

Price Lists are used to identify different selling prices, campaign prices, or special prices for a product or service.

In Wattyo all the Billable Elements (Order, Quotation, Agreement) should have a Price List selected to define the price list to be used to get the price in the billing process.

Definition of Prices

Prices are always related to a Price List to ensure the right price is used in the billing process.

Prices are defined for a specific period and billable concept, and can be used in the billing process to get the right price for the right period.

Prices can be used in the Quotation process to get the right price for the right period related to a Billable Concept.

Note: The image shows the configuration of a Price in Wattyo, defining the price for a specific period and billable concept and Block=DOMESTICO so we could define different prices for the same concept and same period and different typification in Block field.

In the Price Rule you decide the setting to use so you could filter to get the price only if have the same Block value that any field or property.

You have different price value fields to easy configure the scenario when the same concept could have different prices based on different usage segmentation or different meter reading or meter device.

So if metering processed has different values in the metering fields, for example for Energy Active and Reactive, you could define different prices for the same concept and same period but different period.

So the calculation engine will calculate separately every Invoice Line Item for any billable concept and price, the you could choose to merge or not in your configuration.

Pricing Manager

The Wattyo Pricing Manager provides a Gantt chart-based visualization for tracking the evolution of prices associated with a Billable Concept over time.

This tool allows users to filter pricing data based on multiple selection criteria and enables direct access to price details for review or editing.

Clicking on any price entry in the Gantt chart opens a detailed pricing breakdown, showing:

• Base price and extension.
• Selection Criteria.

Users with appropriate permissions can:

• Edit pricing parameters directly in price detail view.
• Schedule price updates for future application.
• Review historical pricing data for audits and compliance.
