Introduction

The Validation Manager functionality offers a powerful, flexible and usable way to validate any kind of information / record / process.

The validations can be blocking errors, warning or informational messages and they automatically updated when you change the record information and related records.

You can create different *Validation Rule Sets** for the same SObject and apply one or another depending on your needs, or even more than one validation rule set at the same time.

Additionally, although the validations are evaluated realtime you can also execute them on demand from any other functionality, for instance, from a Flow or Process Builder. Moreover, you can define in what field you want to store the validation summary: Error, Succeeded, Info or Warning if you need to just evaluate the Validation Status.

This validation are not intended to replace the standard Salesforce validation rules, but to complement them with more complex validations that can be executed in real time or on demand and allow to save the record even if the validation fails.
