The Installation entity manages detailed information about the installation or assembly of an appliance at a Service Point.

It maintains traceability on the status of the device, installation or uninstallation dates and the history of the Service Point to which the device has been associated as well as its passage through the Warehouse.

Installation information is crucial for early maintenance features like automatic generation of “Check Device Status” requests or Inspection tasks.

Create a new Installation

To associate a Device to a Service Point, it’s required to click “New Installation” button on Service Point page. It will create a new Installation object with the relationship between the Service Point and the Device.

Register the required information about dates, status and location of the installation.

In the Installation form you can select the Device to associate with the Service Point or you also can create a new Device in this process.
