Split Consumptions

In Consumption Configuration Settings you configure the Split Method used to apply after consumption calculation to separate into different records “one per block”.

Every Split Method must have an specific method in SplitConsumptions class to apply after consumption calculation process.Outo of the box: the Wattyo product provides a number of Split Methods, but they can be extended by extending the interface with their own methods.

The method receives a “Consumption” register and returns as many as “Block” has generated using the parameterized criteria.

The parametrization of an specific splitmethod is based on the next structure.

Selection/Filetering parameters:

Parameter Description
Split Method Name of the division method.
Type Type of configuration to be used. This parameter will be sent by the specific method by taking the value of the Type of the entity for which it has been defined. Egg. for water business line, the method to select configuration should receive the value of the product family (Domestic or Industrial) as Type.
fromCriteria , toCriteria The selection range is defined based on the value sent as a criterion to the method, which may be different depending on the division method. In the case of water, the diameter of the supply would be sent to apply different split configuration to different diameters.

Configuration parameters:

Parameter Description
fromValue, toValue The minimum and maximum value to be considered within the indicated block is defined.
Block Block in which to divide consumption considering whether the value is between fromValue and toValue.
