Billable Concept

Overview

Billable Concepts are the different concepts you will generate on an invoice.

For instance:

  • Energy Consumption
  • Reactive Energy Consumption
  • Maintenance
  • etc.

You can define as many billable concepts as you need and configure the system to calculate the billing based on them.

Billable Concept Management

In order to manage the different billable concepts, you need to navigate to the Billable Concepts tab in the Wattyo Billing application.

As billable concepts are actually simple to manage Wattyo leverages on the standard Salesforce functionality to create/edit/delete the billable concepts.

Billable Concept Fields

The Billable Concept object has two groups of fields:

Core Fields

Field Description Required
Name The name of the Billable Concept Yes
Family The family of the Billable Concept which values can be customised. No
Description A description of the Billable Concept No

Print Definition

Field Description Required
Section The section label where it should be included in the resulting invoice PDF if desired No
Summary Concept The concept name under where this concept should be summarised No
Printable Name The name that will be printed in the invoice PDF No
Summary Section The section label where the summary should be included in the resulting invoice PDF if desired No
